Built a metafield-driven system to link products by type and display them as selectable options directly on the product page. Used Mechanic automations to populate and maintain these relationships dynamically across the catalog, accounting for new products, stock changes, and removals. In practice, this allows the team to simply assign a product type and have related variations automatically displayed, reducing manual setup and making it easier for customers to navigate between options.

Customer-Based Inventory Management

Developed a custom inventory and cart logic system that extends Shopify's "continue selling" behavior by applying different purchase limits based on customer tags. Implemented consistent logic across product pages, quick buy, cart, and cart drawer to ensure the rules are enforced at every step of the buying process. In practice, this allows wholesale customers to place flexible orders beyond stock limits when needed, while keeping strict controls for regular customers without causing inconsistencies or checkout issues.
